2017 was a bumper year for IDentilam, providing badging solutions to a wide range of businesses and introducing a variety of exciting new products. With the New Year comes the opportunity for the team to reflect and ask, “What were our highlights of the year?”
In 2017 IDentilam launched a number of new products, all aimed at making your badging experience easier and more efficient. In February we released our brand new label printer which prints tear- and water-resistant badges in seconds (5 seconds, in fact!)
With the release of our newest ComPic software version came the addition of a number of exciting features; most notably this included QR barcodes and a much more intuitive, user-friendly interface.
Perhaps our most notable development of 2017 was the launch of our Badge and Track mobile app (watch video) which is now ready for use at onsite events! Quickly and easily scan delegates into or out of your event, check bookings and monitor attendee numbers from your mobile or tablet, you can even print a badge from the app!
In August we introduced our new badge trays – lightweight and made of transparent plastic, they are a great solution for any event and can hold up to 50 badges each.
Away from new product developments, 2017 saw us take part in The Meetings Show, International Confex and the Event Organisers Summit. Our sales team relished the chance to make new connections and a number of opportunities arose as a result, including our first order of the label printer!
Over in the Bureau it was another successful year – we provided onsite badging and delegate tracking services in a variety of locations, from Berlin to Manchester, and we already have a number booked in for this year. There was also plenty to celebrate, from welcoming new team members to celebrating work anniversaries. I joined the Bureau team midway through the year and have settled in well, enjoying the variety of work and new challenges that arise every day.
We also celebrated the 25th anniversary of our Financial Controller, Julie, in November. Julie is a brilliant member of the team and is greatly appreciated by us all. IDentilam would not be the same without her!
2018 is already shaping up to be another busy year as we extend our services to new clients and continue to work on exciting projects with our existing clients. Thank you to everyone who made 2017 a success, we look forward to working with you again this year!
