The ribbons used in the DOPPIE™ comprise 5 or 6 colour panels
YMCKO Yellow, magenta, cyan, black, overlay (clear)– EPR-1001/N
for 350/450D/450E. Up to 250 images.
YMCKO Yellow, magenta, cyan, black, overlay, (clear)– EPR-1001/NS
for 450OS/450FE. Up to 250 images.
Resin Black. Up to 1250 images – EPR-1002
Security Overlaminate Patches. Up to 250 images – EPR-1003/L
The ‘K’ content is a carbon based black ink most suited to text and barcode printing; the machines can be configured to take best advantage of the combinations.
Easy to load cassettes provide simple and speedy changing of the ribbons; each ribbon will produce about 250 cards, full colour.
Technology
Process Our software will enable for YMCKO to print to both sides of a card using one set of ribbon panels only – the black to the front of the card is not a true black but made up from the YMC panels; the card is flipped and uses the K to the reverse. Alternatively the ComPic software enables the user to create barcodes onto the card and to add a blocker to the barcode using the YMC content of the ribbon – this barcode however, is not opaque and sits on the surface of the card. |
Inline
or stand alone the overlaminator is designed to apply by heat and pressure
a durable 25 microns polyester overlay; the overlay may be clear or produced
to order with a holographic pattern embedded.
Overlaminate materials
Clear or holographic the overlaminate will considerably
enhance the longevity and security of the card; for chip cards special
cut away panels cut into the overlaminate leaving the chip fully functional.
